The last day in Battambang

After breakfast I went back to the Guest House. I did some packing as I have to leave the room by noon. Then I went down and the tuk tuk driver took me to the Bombo Train, a touristic attraction outside town. On the way we passed the Ta Dambang statue in a roundabout, the man who gave the name to the city!
We passed small villages and saw the poor standard the people have. Finally we arrived. I chared the vehicle with a lady form UK and it was a ride for about half an hour, ten minutes rest and then back again! Yes, its a tourist attraction, but anyhow, it was funto have made it!
Back at the hotel I got the bus ticket for tonight and I might have to change bus in Phnom Pehn, but that's OK, I hope. I left the room and they stored my backpack in the Lobby! I went to an internet cafe trying to send Xmas Greatings, as I cannot send by IPAD! I also tried Resdagboken, but it was even slower then I rememberd! It was a nice lazy afternoon, reading and having coffee etc.

  1. I'm sitting in the Lobby, waiting for the nightbus to Sihanoukville! It's 10pm! I had a really good foot massage before by a blind massage man! It's a Project for blind persons here in Battambang!
