Pakse in Laos

.

This morning I had breakfast in a nearby hostel - nicer! After breakfast I rented a Moto for the day and started off trying to find an open ATM, so I could be a milionare in kir, at least for a moment. Found it and I also filled the Moto with 2 liter gasolin for 20 SEK. More expensive than in Cambodia.
Now I was ready to start the tour. I had got a simple map and after a while I could read it!

I went out of town up torwards the Bolaven Plateau and it was nice as the traffic was not so intence!
After a while I went into a small village to see how people lived. Some small girls where very excited to see me and I continued!

I came across some things that people were drying but I don't know what it is! Looks like some kind of wood.

After a while I decided to go to the waterfall, about 35 km from Pakse. It was interesting to see. I small boy and his grandma asked for parking fee and entrence, totally 8 SEK! I went down and it was nice. On the way there were quite large coffe plantations and a factory!

I stopped for a Lao iced coffee and a chokolate cake in the Sabaydin valley before heading back to Pakse.
When I fot back I got at confirmation about a hostel in Vientiane from Tuesday and 4 nights - nice!
I went to a recommended massage place by Lonely Planet and a man gave me one hour oil massage for 70 SEK! Nice.
The sun was now setting over the Mekong river and the City so I went to a restaurant to have a Lao fish dish and a beer!
Today I've met two Swedish couples and a man - unusuall! Good night!
