Up back on the moto and away! It was a bit scary to sit on the back without a helmet and driving on those bumpy roads. But he was a good driver and soon we were driving over the new bridge and down on the other side!
We passed so many nice houses and suddenly there was this wedding and I was alowed to take a photo of the couple! Women were preparing food and some munks the ceremony!
We went further and came to a Monastry area with schools. I went up the stairs and when the girls saw me in the entrence they imidiatly stood up and greated me! Talking about order in school!
We were so near all the houses and people and could really se how they lived! So primitivt in those wooden houses! Superm told me that a better house would cost about 1000 USD to build!
We took a simple ferry out to the island! There we saw this man building his boat.
We stoped and went walking to the protected forrest with a guide! After walking for 1 1/2 hour we finally reached the forrest, but the walk was on sand, so it was like walking on a sandy beach!!
We got really tired and after a short walk in the forrest Superm decided to call for transportation, and half an hour later this "tractor" came. But that was hard! Really bumpu roads and no suspensions.
My body jumped up and down and it was a hard travel !
In the end I left and walked after. When we came back to where we started, they made a nice lunch for us. I walked around among the houses and I came close to how they live! Dogs, puppies, chicken and a pig were walking around and the people came and said hello!
After the lunch we said good by and went on with the moto. Copared with the "tractor" the bumps now didn't feel so hard.
We went to a new ferryplace and waited for the ferry to come! It was a very steep way down so Superm didn't drive but let the ferry driver do it!
On the other side we had a short drive back to the Guest House and I said thanks fir a very interesting day and he left! I went in and I had to wash both my shoes and feet from all that sandy dast!
I went down to the ATM just to find out that it was out of order.
Back again and they served a very tasty curry/pork dinner.
I will sleep like a baby tonight!
Tomorrow at lunchtime I leave for Laos!
